Added to her qualifications is her fluency in Spanish. People can easily work with Calleigh due to her good disposition and optimistic perspective. Her perspective, however, does not hinder her from performing her tasks strictly and pursue the criminals she was assigned to capture. Her sunny disposition often makes her the apple of the eye of her co-workers. Calleigh believes in the presence of karma in her life. Despite the dangerous and life-threatening scenes she has been exposed to, Calleigh still can’t overcome her irrational fear on ants shown on the second season of the show. Emily Mallory Procter plays the sunny character of Calleigh Dusquesne. Emily was born on October 8, 1968 in the town of Raleigh in North California. As early as two, Emily witnessed her parents constantly fought and eventually divorced. After graduating high school in Ravenscroft School, she pursued her college degree in East California University where she joined the Aplha Delta Pi sorority. As soon as she received her dance and journalism degree, Emily joined the North Carolina’s WNCT-TV as a weather anchor.
